Established in Paris in 1884, Alland & Robert are the oldest European processors of Gum Arabic and can supply both Senegal (hard gum) & Seyal (brittle gums) gums in kibbled, powdered or spray dried form. They are Europe's original producers of an Instant Cold Water Soluble, spray dried Gum Arabic in both Senegal or Seyal or as a blend of the two. These products are widely used in the confectionery, flavour and pharmaceutical trades as well as industrial applications, which include printing inks and dyes. They are the world's largest processors of Karaya gum, used in both food and pharmaceutical applications.

Gum Arabic Origin
Gum arabic (gum accacia) is the gum-exudation from different species of Accacia trees. The trees grow along the "gum belt" in Africa (from Senegal to Sudan).
Properties
Gum arabic has been known for centuries as a natural, tree origin hydrocolloïd fully soluble in water. Its aqueous solution is taste - odor and colour free.
