Vedrenne was established in 1919 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, a region that boasts some of the finest vineyards in France. Producing Creme de Cassis to liqueurs, from traditional liqueurs to the most original of products. Creating fruit syrups in more than 40 different flavours from fruits 'Eaux de Vie' to 'Marcs' and 'Fines' de bourgogne, Vedrenne can offer almost 200 testaments to the quality of their products.

Vedrenne supercassis

Since 1930, SUPERCASSIS has been the brand name for the most widely distributed quality blackcurrant cream liqueur both in France and abroad. Because of its clear and direct name, SUPERCASSIS is readily identified by the consumer for what it is: a superb product which surpasses all others of its kind.

KIRSCH
This is the oldest of the fruit brandies. Already in 1680, one spoke of a Cherry «Eau-de-Vie».
Blackheart cherries, black cherries with large stones, which have been grafted on to wild cherry-trees, are used to make it. The stones give the flesh a slight almond flavour which is a characteristic of this product. Sixteen kilogrammes of cherries are required to make one litre of pure brandy.The cherry brandy or kirsch is very versatile. It may be used for Long Drink, Cocktails, Digestive Drinks, Grogs or Punches or even mixed in cooking for making sorbets, pastry, fruit salads.

 

Kirsch

PEAR WILLIAMS
It has a delicate and fine flavour. The fruits must be picked when they are just ripe, turned to a golden colour by the sun. Twenty-eight kilogrammes of pears are required to make one litre of pure brandy. The Williams Pear must be drunk at a very low temperature (6 to 8¡) as it is the coolness which specially brings out its flavour.

RASPBERRY BRANDY
Raspberry brandy is obtained by the maceration of fruits into alcohol, followed by a distillation. 5 kilogrammes of raspberries are necessary to make one litre of pure brandy. Just like Williams Pear, Raspbeery needs to be drunk cool to enjoy its full aroma.

MIRABELLE AND QUETSCH
Mirabelle is a small yellow plum, sweet and scented, that gives a very fine brandy. Quetch is a black plum that is picked in Eastern France. We use 25 kg of quetsch against 18 kg of mirabelle to make a litre of pure brandy.Mirabelle brandy is mostly appreciated in Cocktails and Long Drinks. Quetsch brandy is an excellent Digestive drink.Les Guignolet, ratafia et fruyquinacherry brandy «guignolet»

The Védrenne comprises more than 36 flavours
They are not pasteurized and contain nothing else than pure sugar ; these sirops are of an incomparable flavour and are economical : just a small amount is enough.
